Carlisle Mountaineering Club (CMC) previously had a website but unfortunately two or three years ago it was abducted by some very unsavoury characters and was eventually taken off line.

I thought it would be useful, to those members that are internet savvy, to have access to information from the club.

Hopefully more people will come on climbing meets, attend winter lectures and pass on their reports and photos for others to enjoy. Perhaps new members will be encouraged by these tales of daring to join the Club.

Whilst this site is hosted by Freetime, I would assure members that there will be no overly commercial content.
