Best
Sellers December is by far our busiest month
of the year and it wouldn’t be surprising to sell any
part of our range well. However some products have sold especially
well:. |
| |
| Buff
neckwear was a very popular gift idea as were the enduring
Swiss
Army knives and pairs
of socks! |
| |
| Following our web launch offer
the Petzl
Tikka head torch sold in large numbers. Another launch offer,
Salomon’s Equipe Wheely bag, sold out very early on and
has been substituted with the Salomon
Equipe Travel Bag. In general we have been very busy with
ski boot sales, it seems that our reputation for excellent fitting
is getting around and, additionally, Sidas
custom insoles are bought by nearly half of our ski boot buyers.
With many skiers getting ready for the first trip of the year
Salomon Snowblades
are again in vogue. |

Ski News
After an encouraging early start in Scotland and on the Pennines
the snowy conditions have faded. Much as the Met office predicted
a few months ago, cold weather has occurred East and South
of us. Central Alpine resorts have had very good falls and
the forecast is good there. Equally, North America is having
a great season but Italy, Andora, Bulgaria, Scotland and Scandinavia,
could do with a decent helping. I am off to Fernie
in Canada next week for a testing session with Salomon.
I hope to bring you news of next winter’s product when
I return. In the meantime, have a look at our fantastic
prices on skis.

Mountain
News Cold and
frosty weather makes a great day out so I hope many of you
will have had the opportunity to get out there over the last
couple of weeks, let’s see some of your photos for our
gallery.
The general forecast is on the cold side so keep your fingers
crossed and your mitts
handy! Following from the Alpine conditions, there has been
some fine ice climbing conditions in both Norway and France.
Check out Neil
Hitchings for Chamonix ice availability. |
