Pete
is holder of the Mountain Instructors Certificate, the highest
UK qualification for instructing walking, climbing and mountaineering,
and is resident instructor to TGO magazine. He is a course
director for ML and SPA courses, and runs winter skills courses
from introductory through to intermediate, as well as trips
to Nepal.
His
books include ‘The International Handbook of Technical Mountaineering',
the forthcoming ‘Sport Climbing Handbook' and co-authorship
of the globally successful ‘The Mountain Skills Training Handbook'.
He
has climbed and new-routed all over the world, and includes
certifiable things like winter ascents of the North Faces
of the Eiger and Matterhorn in his CV!
